All looks good so far. You need to add your questionnaire results please, and post your prelim so that I can assess it.

This is good. You could take it a step further and find how people perceive existing texts by asking a focus group to comment on around 3 different opening sequences. You could produce a semi-structured interview or just a series of questions. This will help you to gather more information about what people like to see in terms of m-e-s, cinematography, sound, editing etc and provide you with much more detailed (if fewer) responses.
